16th December 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy with some drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered: Tuesday 16th December - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy with drizzle. I didn’t join Mag on her early morning walk as it looked pretty cloudy, there was a little sun at sunrise but nothing special so did not miss much! Tuesday is Mary day so no plans, I did my exercises while Mag did the hovering, I packed lunch and we set off down to Felixstowe seafront just as the drizzle started! So we headed for the pier and sat on a seat under cover for todays picnic sharing it with some gulls and pigeons! We continued onto the Spa theatre with nice light towards the docks in a break in the clouds. Up through the gardens to the town centre and onto Mary’s for a chat before returning home, I was chuffed to get a pic on Aisling’s ITV weather forecast I took at Felixstowe Ferry yesterday! We headed for home for a cuppa, we then decided to head out again to walk to Sainsburys to get some Xmas scratch cards for present's and I took some pics of the lovely Felixstowe Christmas lights! Looks like there might be some unsettled weather coming with wind and rain but we are seeing Maeva tomorrow and Friday so not bothered about missing windsurfing sessions! Photo Album here |
